Each abstract should be submitted either
by email or on a clearly labelled IBM-PC formatted disk as a Word 98 or
earlier document.
The final date for acceptance of abstracts
is Friday 19 July, 2002. A completed registration form and full payment
of registration fees should accompany submitted abstracts. Presenting
authors will receive formal acceptances of oral presentations and poster
presentations by Friday, 9 August, 2002.

Margins should be 30mm on top, and 25mm on the left, right, and bottom
All abstracts must be a maximum of a half a page. Abstracts of more
than 12cm X 17cm will not be accepted.
Font and Format
As shown above, use 14 point Times New
Roman font for the title, 12 point Times New Roman font for the authors,
and 9 point for author address(es) and the abstract text. The title
should be in upper case, bold and centred. Leave one blank line between
the title and the author(s), between the author(s) and address(es),
and between the address(es) and the abstract text. If multiple authors,
underline the name of the presenting author.
All text should be single spaced, with
a single blank line between paragraphs. Italic font should be used for
scientific names only. Use no indentations, and the text should be right
and left justified. Headings can be used if necessary. They should be
in 10 point Times New Roman font, left aligned, upper case, and bold.
If you need to acknowledge support or
permission to publish, please include this under a separate, lower case,
underlined heading at the end of the abstract text.
ORAL PAPER SUBMISSIONS
All presenters of oral papers will be
required to submit their presentations format by Friday, 13 September,
2002. Authors are advised that the presentation medium is Powerpoint
for PC only; Macintosh users must convert their files to PC format before
submission. Submission of files will be by email, ftp, or by mailing
a floppy disk, ZIP disk or CD.
